This meeting is a Family & Friends Discussion Meeting for Spouses, Partners, Siblings, or Friends of someone with an addictive behavior. We ask that you attend at least one Wednesday evening regular Family & Friends meeting before attending a Tuesday evening discussion meeting.
This meeting is normally held on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 PM at the Straley Room of the Community Church of Chapel Hill, at 106 Purefoy Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. Please use the BACK parking lot or the wooded lot at the top of the hill from that back parking lot, NOT the parking spaces in the front lot of the church! See the pictures below.
SMART Recovery Family & Friends is a science-based, secular alternative to Al-Anon and Johnson Intervention. Our method is based on the tools of SMART Recovery and CRAFT (Community Reinforcement Approach & Family Training). Our purpose is to provide resources and support for those who are affected by the addictive behaviors of a loved one.
